Well some of you may or may not know, Im a big Bama fan and originally from the state. After spending some time with my family for the holiday and watching the big game (Roll Tide!) me, my wife, brother and a few cousins hit up the clubs.
Low and behold Sir Charles Barkley walks in! My cousin is a member of Birmingham S.W.A.T. (always good to hit the town with the law on your side! hehe ) so of course he and us get to meet him first.
My Cousin told charles we were from the ville so we got to chatting about the Derby and what not. Since I know some people and can weasel my way to the hottest Derby parties I invited my man up this year despite me being a big bama fan and him being the biggest thing out of Auburn. He accepted my offer and covered our whole party's tabs for the night!
Now I aint usually the kind that is all caught up in the celeb scene and to be honest I didnt care he was there at first, but after getting to know him I really thought he was a very down to earth fellow. He even got up on the mic and congradulated Bama for the victory and wished them luck against UF and possibly the National championship game!
LoL I know this aint really thread worthy but after all the Vodka crans and heines he hooked us up with I felt the need to share this story with my MFK brethren! Hopefully we will meet up for the derby and I will update yall with some pics as we didnt have our camera tonight!
