so im on a business trip that is suppose to be 3 weeks long but i got a notice it might end early so if it does i can leave end of the week but the best thing isnt this. my lfs just called me saying they got a hold of a australlian jardini that a guy gave to the store b/c he couldnt take care of it but its a 13"er and has 1 cloudy eye due to poor water condition. the owner of the lfs said she'll give it to me for 60$ so on the way back home im gonna pick it up! :D finally the long arowana search is over though its bigger then what i wanted cant beat the price for a 13" aus. jardini. this news just made my day! just wished

no it doesnt have de it has cloudy eye on one side from what i heard. most likely i will have it in my custom 225g 72x30x24 thats sitting in my garage. im goin to try and house it with my endli bichir and my 4 crayfish 1 blue 3 tangerine color & clown knife once it grows bigger since the clown knife is only 6" right now. just hoping the jar wont be goin to red lobster once theyre together and kill all the crayfish... lol

im still gonna get it but i think imma delay it for a bit. i have a pond but i built the pond at my mother's house awhile back where i use to live and i know she cant care for it so decided to get it when i move to my own house(currently in a apt) i think thats for the best. for my mom, me & the fish. lol

u wouldn drop 60 for a 13" jar? just cause of one cloudy eye? from what i was told it has beautiful colors and the usual price for a 13" jar here is around $130+ for anything 12"+ ($100+ is considered cheap) wouldnt be surprised seeing them sell for $200+

b careful bad water parameters usually affect both eyes whe it comes to cloudiness ,i could be wrong but that has been my experience

thx for the heads up.
