I have a 6-7" silver and i was curious if anyone else had this "issue", mine will stay over in the same corner as my filter outlet. he may swim to the other side MAYBE twice a day, but he spends the majority of the time just swimming in front of it...any thought???

They usually do stuff like that when they're uncomfortable.

Smaller arows can get moody a lot and will decide not to venture far from a certain spot. As long as he's eating and otherwise normal I wouldn't worry about it and he will get more comfortable as he ages.

I'm going with shadowbass on this. Probably moody or uncomfortable. I had one that did that for a good while but after he approached the 12" mark it sort of phased out. I thought that maybe the current was the issue and since he was bigger it no longer bothered him.

eh that sounds about right, i have minimal current going through the center of the tank, powerhead blows down the back wall and my spraybar agitates the surface...hes about a 1.5 months old....i was just curious, thanks

hes prolly not sick but up the temp like 2 degrees so its more confortable...i think thats what happen to mine when i stared playing with the filter and heater as kid
