something may be wrong with my leopard gecko?

i came home today and found my leopard gecko may have something wrong with it. His coloring is wierd. the beginning of his head is his normal brown color then it turns into a white shade all the way to the beginning of his tail and then his tail is his normal color... is this normal or is something wrong? please help me. thanks

looks like a shed to me as well...i've pondered keeping leos but never tried...i've cared for dozens but never kept one as a pet. Maybe sometime .
