something on my pbass?

should i be worried? it looks like little bubbles on his side fins, i tried to take some pics but none came out clear enough. any idea wat it is?

a fungus of some sort...id say its ich....get some ich meds asap

Skip the meds and raise the temp to at least 87 degrees and add aquarium salt according to the directions on the package. If this does not help within a week or two then go for the meds. But in most cases heat and salt will cure Ick quickly without affecting the delicate balance of your tanks cycle.

It is more than likely white spot.

How big are the pbass and what temp is the tank??

raise the temp to 88 to 90 and add a lot of aquarium salt that should blear it up

i have freshwater tarpon in the same tank and they dont have anything on them..

Young cichla are prone to getting ick while other fish are not.... Just raise the temp and add some salt and you'll be fine!
