OK, so i am treating my 125g for ich i bought some clown loaches and after a day i noticed white spots on one of the lil guys tails........so my hosp tank is being used at the moment to cure my EBJD of parasites he got from to much blood worms....ok so a couple months ago i had to dose for ich and i always remove my carbon so i don't just counter act the meds. well last time when i dosed the tank stayed blue the whole time sep when i did a 50% wc in the middle of the treatment......this time around the water isn't staying blue. it will fade after an hour or so.......i upped the temp to like 86-88 and need to get more salt w/o iodine. i am using a product called Quick Cure: contains Formalin and Malachite Green......wich i know are kinda nasty chems be they are very effective from what i have heard and seen.....so what do you think would be causeing my tank to clear up so fast??? could the brown algae in my intake tubes or the Benificial Bacteria remove it??? i am running 3 AC110's w/o carbon but i do have the ceramic cylinders in there....i am running an air pump cuz it seems to make them breath heavy if i don't. really appreciate the input guys i don't wanna be waisting this stuff and i want the treatment to be effective as well.....along w/ salt and raising the temp what other methods/products have you guys/gals used that worked great for ich. thanks and happy day of prayer to all of you, i am praying for this country everyday as well as the members of this site God Bless YA!!

I used the heat and salt method. Plus I added Amquel Ick Attack. Worked very well. My brother just had an outbreak in his tank and started treating with the salt and heat. I let him borrow my bottle of Amquel and the fish was completely free of all ich within 2 days. And my brother said that fish was covered in it before.
