I was cleaning out my email, and came across this. I signed a petition about how Walmart needs to stop selling fish, and this was the final update. I was very interested to see this.
"Hello all, we hope that you are doing well! After an hour phone call with WalMart we came to a deeper understanding on this issue. They stated "we house all of our fish up to industry standards." Walmart is right they do care for their animals up to industry standards. It didn't seem fair to attack one corperation when a lot of others do the same thing. To make CHANGE we need to change the industry not just one corperation. We will be working closely with other activists to create a petition that would hopefully make change in the fish industry. Thank you for all of the support and you will be hearing from us soon!"
As crappy as Walmart seems, their fish are kept up to standard.
