I work in a pet shop and so wash my hands a lot, and combined with the winter weather my hands are a mess- dry, cracked and bleeding. Is there anything that is safe to use for working with tanks?

Don't know if it is fish safe, but nothing heals cracked hands better than bag balm. You can use it at night and wash it off in the morning.

When my hands are a mess I usually put a lot of Vaseline on them and thin gloves, like those stretchy ones that are $1, right before bed and wake up and they're good as new.

Aloe-Vera would be safe, I think. All of the above are probably better options though.

This works... I do it to my son because he likes to suck on his fingers. Not one, All of them. and they crack and bleed.
