Recently i had a gar but it is now in my mates pool where it is doing very nicely.
Before he went i had quite a lot of movement by the bottom dwellers, i guess they might have felt comfatable with him on top although more worried possibly?
Either way the guys at the bottom have just stood still.
POLI...Endi AND Ornate....Both quite active during light before the gar left.
TIGER PERCH...Although only about 4 inches was still quite active but it now just hides?
GHOST KNIFE....A little more active but now very dormant.
SORIBEM LIMA'S ( 9 inches)....Completely active before the Gar left but now they just sit totally still.
TIRE TRACK....Only young (about 5 inches) but even he was quite open at times but now not a sign?
The Tank is 125 IMP gallons and i know some will be moved on later
I know most of these are mostly nocturnal but i managed to get them active in the light but now it's like a grave yard in there.
All water parameters are fine.
Many fish feel more comftable with another fish or fish above them i wondered if this was the reason.
If so with this lot in there what would be a good reccommendation as i am quite baffled with these guys as compatability is quite difficult.
I really do miss the Gar but it was just getting too big for the tank.
I thought of maybe a Pike cichlid but they maybe too agressive or maybe a Jack Dempsey?
