I got a jag, midas , escondido and argentea about two weeks ago. Everyone but the jag has been eating pretty good on NLS pellets and the occasional blood worms. The jag is still pretty skittish and only picks at the bloodworms. He never eats the pellets or anything else that I offer the fish. Is this too long without really eating anything.

I tried krill and none of them will eat it. I even tried soaking it in garlic guard and they will not touch it. I think that he is still to skittish. The other fish come to eat but he goes to the other side of the tank and stays there.

I Had my jag for a couple months now and he only eats a couple pellets. I tryed krill to and did nothing, so i was getting feeders. I want to get him off feeders now though because im afraid of diseases and stuff.

I would stick to pellets only untill they all are eating them then add other things a couple times a week. Try Hikari bio gold +....it's a floating pellet for carnivorous fish. He wont starve himself to death if he is healthy.

Gost shrimp will work. try them out but keep doing pellets. I give pellets first then live food or krill. I like to make sure my fish get pellets in them before treats. Thats just me though.

They still are kind of skittish when I come around the tank. Even though they are in my bedroom which I am always in on my computer.

I only use floating pellets but they say you shouldn't. I never had problems though. My fish don't search enough for the sinking ones they get lost in all my rocks
