Something weird came in our comet order today...

Something that isn't a goldfish came in our comet goldfish order today at work. I've found all sorts of weird crap in there (tadpoles, crayfish, etc) but I have no idea what this fish is. Do you know?

looks like a blue ear sunfish to me. Lepomis spp. of some sort

It looks like a type of bluegill or brim.

Whats good to feed these guys? temperature? anyone know how big/fast they grow?

mouth is too big, looks to me like you have a warmouth

they eat just about anything that is alive...

what about pellets? Ralllysb1tch said the shipment of feeders comes from florida if that might help...

Mouth is pretty big, maybe a warmouth? Anyway, its some sort of NA native. Room temp is fine, and feeder guppies/fry, [super|earth|red wiggler|wax] worms, ghost shrimp, crickets, etc

Not sure if a warmouth would take to pellets, but most other bream species should...
