Something wrong with my gar ??

looks like he just got into a squabble with somthing. cant be too sure though..
 
not sure ether since i never seen that before maybe Jordan can ansure that question
 
i cant tell from the picture? are they more like cuts or bumps? i am somewhat unexperienced in this aspect of fish keeping. could you get more of a close-up shot?

it doesn't look like anything too serious. keep an eye on it, and go with the basic treatment for gars and other primitive fishes...increase water changes frequency and volume, add some salt (perhaps about 1 tbsp/20 gallons) and increase temp to about 82F. gars heal rather quickly, so keep an eye on the condition and let us know if it persists.

depending on how the condition heals/progresses i can give some suggestions as to other methods of treatment--

Its been like that for more than a week.. I've done water changes. He has becone aggressive lately..I guess that's because of growing up..
