Something wrong?

I have a four inch green sunfish quarratining(?) in a ten gallon tank. He's been in there for about four weeks. I noticed a couple of days ago that he has a white fuzzy spot on his lower jaw that kind of looks like a tooth. What is it and what do I treat it with?

pictures would really help if possible.
it could be a type of fungus or bacterial infection which would need to be treated with antibiotics. but without pictures of the lil guy its hard to give a definite diagnosis.
