So one of my clown knifes bottom fin and the surrounding area look almost like something has been chewing on his fins/body but he hasn't been with any agressive fish.
It also looks like he has little white bumps on his problem fin but it's not ich it almost looks like a pimple.
Other then this he is also producing a thick slime coat that seems be coming off him and gathering in the back area of his tank where he hangs out most, I've been removing this and doing regular water changes as well as keeping his tank on the warm side but still no luck what's wrong with this fish?
any ideas?
He did get into a fight with my giant gourami awhile back and got chewed up but he seemed to heal nicely.
Since I noticed this getting worse he's been kept separate please help could a small wound have become infected or something along those lines? How would I go about fixing these problems?
