He says he does daily water changes and tank doesn't look overstocked, fish look healthy. It's a lot of food but if he is cleaning it out every day, I don't really see the problem? Guy seems a bit odd but hey I've seen much much worse on youtube

My thoughts exactly.

Just another moron on youtube, showing the rest of the world how to do things wrong.

The music.....I was half expecting to see Boba Fett or Darth Maul jump through that window and cut Deon to ribbons!

I agree with seeing FAR worse on youtube, but that for myself that doesn't equate to giving poor husbandry practices a free pass. I see some problems. He's not only overfeeding, he's feeding 6mm food that is far too large for the fish to consume properly, which over time equates to a build up of dissolved organic compounds in the water, and filters. Even if he sucks out the excess that he can see every single day. Nevermind what it does to the gastrointestinal system. In a commercial aquaculture flow through system, power feeding can gain net growth in young fish (which these all are) but at what cost to the fish? Typically the results are premature death. And this in what, a 55 or 75 gallon? Some of those species, when cared for properly, can reach a foot in length, or more, and IMHO should be housed in a minimum of a 180. IMHO that tank is a ticking time bomb, in more ways than one. Not that there aren't millions of others just like it, but still.

Bad practice with an even worse style of delivery. I'd expect nothing more from a guy who obviously fancies himself as a bit of a gangsta type geyser innit.

The sad thing for me is that there will be inexperienced hobbyists out there who will almost certainly start gut loading after seeing this. I mean it's on you tube so it must be right!:nono:

It seems he moved in the right direction with twice a week feedings. The fish all looked good in that follow up.
