Hey whats up! I have about a 22 inch RTC! Hes a Bigon! But anyways he eats with regularity and consistant! I feed him a diet of Haddock, perch, whiting and regular catfish. All fillets! But hes been scraping against the rocks and I just noticed his skin behind his main upper fin is like (PATCHED) off! Also his (WHISKERS) some! Not all are a little limp! I took a nice variety of pics so you guys could see! Is this some sort of parasite or something? Any and all questions would be greatly appreciated! I wanna help him! Hes one of the big boys on MFK's!

Im going to put him in a 300 gallon real soon!

looks to me he has some cloudy eye??? I'm not 100% sure.. but the water quality looks clean..

do you onle feed it meet?
feed it vegie pellets too
and add salt 1tbs to 5gal
put the temp at 86
do a wate change weekly
are you feeding till its belly bulge?
if so you are feeding to much

first thing you should do is build a pond or an xl plywood tank that is atleast 1.5x front to back as the fish is long, second is to only feed him once to twice a week and do a large water change the day after feeding.

yup the second pic, though now i see, the first pic itself showed it is fin rot
