My contract won't be up until October and I don't want to pay face value for a Palm Pre - if some one knows a friend who can hook me up let me know. I'd like to get my plan renewed now and get the Pre for $300 with the $100 mail in rebate.

I dunno, it depends on how well fed they are too - skinny Sprint sales reps don't go for much these days. Haven't you seen the guy on the AllTell commercials? He's a chubby lil' bastid.
