my biggest ghost shrimp(big mumba) EATING my last guppy.
yeah, thats right, I figured the guppy would be dying soon
because he got sucked up into the hose thingie I use for
my water changes and I found him swimming in my tub. lol
Well I got him out, he turn mostly black with white spots.
Awesome. Well, it was a very interesting site to see big
mumba darting across the tank trying to hide this guppy.
I went to get the net and I got back to get it out.
Can't find it ANYWHERE. So I guess I'll have to keep
a close eye on him with it.

wish the quality was better, my camera phone sucks sometimes and
these bad boys are just hard to get a good picture of.

like I said, if was it was clear. I have LOT better ones on my
actual camera but I can't find the cord.
Have stunning pictures of my alpha male cichlid.
well, I want to say he is a male, he bullies the others
and its twice as big as all of them. and he came from
the same batch of fry as all of them. wow. lol

hmm what cichlid is it?
send me a pic and ill try to sex him!
the way you describe him however is pointing in the direction of a male or alphamale cichlid

he is a convict, when i find my cord i will.
will be sometime tomorrow, I'm going to spend some time with friends,
I've had waaayy to long of a day. lol
He is about maybe 1/2 inch, so it will be verrrry hard to sex him right now.
but I'm sticking with a him. Deff not getting rid of him though. (:
he is my favorite along with big mumba!

Shrimp for a pet? Hmmm, I use prawns for feeders every now and then. I picked up 6 dozen little 1"ers a couple of months ago and this one has been living and growing in my overflow. I took him out a few days ago and threw him in the tank. Now he's a little turd. I kept one in there one time until he was 6" before feeding him.

I have one lone feeder shrimp left in my tank which used to catch some of the smaller dither fish i had in the tank... that was till one of my fish bit off one of his claws, which has now turned him back into a true scavenger looking for little morsels of food left over...

awwh, yeah my ghost shrimp is my baby, I've come very attached to him.
When the cichlids get big enough to eat him I think I'm going to put him in his own tank
along with little t(my other ghost shrimp) and put something small in it. Maybe like
a little goldfish or something... they aren't that hard to kill.

I can't tell you how many sheds I scooped up from big mumba. He is growing
fast, seems like every water change I find one. He's bigger then my biggest
baby convict. and my biggest one I would say is 1/2 inch, maybe 5/8's
