While I was sleeping my Delhezi bichir decided to explore the inter-workings of my AC50 Powerhead.. Headfirst.. in the intake.. so i woke up in the middle of the night and I heard the unusually loud power head, and I said to myself "damn, I'll fix it in the morning." and went back to sleep, woke up nearly 4 hours later turned off the power head proceeded to pull it out when i noticed... HOLY CRAP my Bichir is in there, so I grab my net to try to nudge him out of there, still hopeful that he was still alive.. he was jammed in there good, so i just reversed the flow on the power head turned the power back on.. he shot out of there will all his mutilated glory...
Lessons learned:
-Get a prefilter..
-WAKE UP to strange noises.
