Soon to be momma yellow lab

Hello,

I have a yellow lab holding eggs. should I leave her in with my other cichlids, or move her to a tropical 20 gallon tank? The last option in a 10 gallon with three Betas in my daughters room.


Any experience / suggestions would be awesome.

How much decor do you have in your display tank? If you put her under a lot of stress while trying to catch her she will spit the eggs out.

If you put her with tropicals or bettas she will most likely enjoy a few snacks from your tank after clutching for so long when she spits those fry.

Unless you have a spare tank to keep her in alone rather leave her where she is.
