Yes I did see the two stickies but I still can't figure it out, they look the same to the untrained eye (me). I was wondering what kind of sabertooth I have. It's roughly 7-8 inches. I was told it was a sabertooth characin. And all the info I found was that it was the aramatus (sp). I have a buddy intreasted in it if it is a aramatus (sp) for a trade.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Not the best pic but it's from my phone. My computer is down so I can't upload the fancy pics.

no way its a tat??? theirs no red on the fins and the body shape doesn't simulate at all
 
I hate when sellers get lazy with the names of these fish and use blanket terms...Good looking tat anyhow.
 
Yeah it's a fairly general term. Since I was searching for sabertooth characin. I also found vampire characin so I just wanted to double check with people that have experience and are knowledgeable of this particular specis.
