I setup my first saltwater tank last night. My 75g.... Right now its just argonite sand and a 9lb piece of living rock. Tonight I will get some fish to put in and post the updated pics. Tank is a little cloudy because i didnt wash the sand, oops. Comments welcome but be easy on me. i went out to buy a whole new setup for my frt, oto pup and azul so i am still in, a little.....

What do u plan on stockin in there??? and Id get about 50 more LBS of rock if i were you. also what knid of lights you using?

there will be a lot more going into the tank. Rock, fish, eels, etc... Fishwise going to be a moray and most triggers and groupers I guess. on yeah, and you got to have a lionfish. Will post some more pics tonight where it should have more stuff in it!

Saltwater is just another category in our monster fish keeping blood!
 
i have the best of both worlds i have a 125 reef tank
my only advice is not to rush anything it took my tank about a year to fully stabilize
but its pumping now
 
also live rock is the key to success get as much as you can for bio filtration
i use a refugium also been keeping sps corals for awhile now
also if your going reef go with metal hilides its a must
