my mom who will turn 82 in november has developed some health issues so i've been spending more time with her and making sure her needs are met, etc.

i'll try to stop by as often as i can, i miss it here! just wanted to let you all know i haven't abandoned the ship.

keep snapping! :)

Sorry to hear Rob. I hope things improve for you. Taking care of our parents as they age, is a tough and time consuming job, but they did it for us.

just when we thought she was getting better, she had a stroke a couple of weeks ago!

busy, busy, busy, but will still stop by...

Yes, sorry to hear that and I know the feeling. My mom just turned 83 last month!

i hope to be around a lot more.
my mom has settled into a nursing home and is receiving great care. :)

my apologies in advance for seeming to ignore those posts with photos hosted on photobucket.
most of my browsing is done from work (don't tell!), and strong security filters prevent me from viewing those photos hosted on photobucket.

i can't view those posts until i get home and then i just don't seem to have the time!
looking forward to jumping back into APF with both feet!

Great to hear. Miss seeing your photos, especially since you shoot all kinds of different fish.

thanks jim!

unfortunately, i had to close down half my tanks during my 'hiatus', but i still have 4 up and running.

i haven't been motivated to photograph them much though, too tired.

most of my recent photography has been of tiny little carvings called netsuke. i may post some up in the general gallery, see if anyone's interested.

long time no see, everyone! B-)

i hate to say i'm down from 8 to 3 tanks and the passion for fishkeeping is not what it once was.
i'm still enjoying photography when i can but that isn't as often as i'd like.

the forum sure looks different. :-o

hope all is well with everyone and i look forward to catching up. :)
