How long would a 3-4 inch silver be good for in a 110 gallon tank... I'm guessing a few months right?

Not very long. XD It isn't going to stay 3-4 inches long for a few months.

Okay, seriously, now, I believe it'll be fine for a few months as long as the tank is twice as long as the aro and there plenty of room to turn around.

True, though there aren't really any 110 tanks that would hold this fish past 18"

A 48" x 18" good till about 16" and a 60" x 18" good for 18".

Hard to give a time period. May last a year, but could need to be moved within as little as 6-7 months.

Depends on growth rate. Mine put on two inches in a month so do the math.

I say you dont even get a silver aro. you said youre not even sure if you will get a 300g. if you dont get it, then what? the silver aro is gonna die in your 110?

and no, there is no concrete figure on growth. every fish is different, just as people grow differently
