ur right iam very sry everyone iam getting ahead of myself, i should of not posted about another ray, but iam also thinking of my kids, my kids really love him in fact they named him stingy..lol, but needycowgirl was right i should of asked more ? about it, but i have gone everywhere, to all pet store and did everything they said to do before i even came a member here, the reason y i posted all that is cause iam told no matter what i do hes gonna die, so if hes gonna die i wanna get another one to replace him so my kids won't know, sry to everyone who got upset over this whole thing, but one thing is for sure, i really do care, the one vet is the one who told me to pull him out to let him die cause hes in pain and it would be best, then thats when i was told about the clove oil, and he does seem a little happier now that hes on bare bottom. thanks again to everyone who helped and didn't jump on me
 
At some point we all have to learn the hard way so don;t beat yourself up at all. The fault does not originate with you.
Sorry for your difficulties.
This might be a reasonable opportunity to explain the realities of life and death and keeping wild animals to your kids? less attachment to a ray than say...a dog?
 
your right iam just gonna have to tell her about it if he does die, just wish i would of found this site 2 weeks ago, cause then he prob be ok, and trust me iam kicking myself in the butt over it right now
 
dont.. things happen. you will know for the other ray you have.
Just do what you can, take the advice given and see what happens.

iam sry i posted to many threads if everyone can just use this one so everyones on same page, and ur right knifegill, u either do or u will, and i will learn and do
 
maybe.. was he not moving before? make sure you do a water test, get an airstone to get make sure the water is oxigenated, get some blackworms, put them in there and turn off the light , hope for the best.
