hey i can not find a site to post this on so bare with me my cory cat has this weird lump on its under side is it preg?

I'll move this to the general section, you'll get better replies there.

here. i think someone moved it.
yeah 3 of my female guppys have HUGE lumps too. are they pregnant as well?

Large female guppies are most likely pregnant. I cannot say the same of cory cats because the cats lay eggs while the guppies give live birth.

Does that mean my guppy has fertile eggs in her; or are they like salmon(and i guess other fish) and they lay eggs and the male puts his sperm on it?

I think there is 1 male in there..but he looks too small for the girls.lol
and I heard that guppys can change their gender when they want to..?

I have a cave in the tank but should I get some plants so she can lay her eggs?

Guppies are livebearers. The female won't lay eggs. But, plants are a good call to give the fry a chance for survival. And, guppies will pic at hair algaes growing on the plants.
BTW, females can be fertilized once and produce several batches of fry. They store sperm packets.
This should be in its own thread so as not to derail the cory subject.

As far as the cory, post a pic since, by the current description, it could be anything.

livebearers...i am guessing they're the kind that lay their babies inside of them. correct?

oh is that what my friend was saying..
so instead of changing genders.. they can have babies all by themselves?

hey she's been pregnant(her belly is getting bigger) for I'm guessing 2weeks but when am I gonna see fry?

start ur own topic JEAE21 so u dont get this topic derailed

but from the present description of the cory it sounds like it has a ulcer or a tumer i had a male guppy that had one it lived a long time 4-6 months b4 it died so i think ur cory will befine for now just try to start some meds
