SOS For Striped Raphael Catfish

Hi, I'm in need of a little help. I was cleaning out my freshwater tank today and I noticed that my Striped Raphael Catfish had red splotches where his fins meet his body. But his gills look fine and he is a little more active then normal. Do I need to be concerned or am I overreacting. Any help will be greatly appreciated. He has been a member of my tank since we moved to our own place. I hope to hear good news, Thank you all for your time.
