Almost certain DOA (dead on arrival). Cold and Limp when arrived. Body appears sunken in shell(loss quite a bit of water weight ). Large FRT. Probable cause is hypothermia.

However, tail is still moving (not sure if nerves only).

No response from any other parts of the body. Currently body being kept in warm water and head/nose outside.

Anything we can do at the moment? No signs of life for about 24 hours now other than the tail movement.

Would appreciate any advice on what to do. Hoping for a miracle here. This turtle was raised from a baby for 5 years.

:(

Nerves im sure would have stopped by now. other than that i dunno. GL

Take your turtle to a exotic vet would be the best advice I can give you. Ive seen turtles recover in dire circunstances, who knows.

Take the turtle to a reptile vet.

With the amount of money that is probably involved here I'm guessing there is a live arrival guarantee?
