Souping up my Eheim 2260

after a month or so i found that the mech filtration was less than desirable, so i took some advise from neo. anyways here's what i did, anyone forsee any issues? it's working fine thus far.

water clarity:
micron 200 sock over tube
connect tube to inlet of eheim.
now time to wait for results!

yeah, i wash the canister weekly though, am going to wash twice a week for the next few weeks.
