Could anyone ID this Fish for me please? Scientific name and how much it is worth? Fish is healthy and very nicely colored around 5-6" territorial but not overly aggressive only housed with convicts can hold its own pretty well.

Vieja are usually difficult to know for sure since they are often mixed with other Vieja. If its a purebred, my guess would be hartwegi, though it could also be a bifa. More likely a hartwegi in my opinion.

What would be a fair price for this guy just incase I need tank space? Planning on a 55 gallon CA/SA cichlid tank but may not happen. Oh and in your opinion male or female?

Looks like a bifa to me, but these become hard to tell apart. A 55 would be ok for now, but long term if you want tankmates and optimal conditions, go bigger. If not possible, pass on the vieja

One way to distinguish hartwegi, from bifas, is hartwegi has an overbite.
A close up of the mouth would help.
But for reference, below is a bifas. And not that it matters, but they are Central American.
