South American Eartheaters Alternative?

Is there an alternative for the South American Eartheaters book by Thomas Weidner? I just can't afford $200+ on a book right now. I would really like an in depth book on eartheaters. Thanks.

Datz Die Buntbarsche Amerikas III is a great book if you don't mind translating stuff, but even it is going to set you back a reasonable amount (Paid AUD$65 for mine, and that was a bulk deal). I'd be keeping a close eye on Ebay (Internationally) for Weidner's book.
 
$200+? Is that how much this book is now selling for in the US?

Post a WTB on a few various online forums, you just might get lucky.
That's how I got my copy a couple of yrs ago, for $50.

Thanks. Don't know German, but I wouldn't mind learning a bit either. I'll look out for that one.

try amazon also you would be surprised what you may find there,But as someone else said,just ask around also. Start out with a WTB thread right here.
Also if you go to Barnes and Noble online they have older books that they discount big time from old clearence sales etc.
