Im in the prosess of getting two wild caught SA leafs in about 2-3 weeks, they will be in my 30 gallon planted tank, with a few plecos, big hatchet fish, and maybe some others. Anything i should know before i get them, any tips or experiences are welcome. And i can supply live feeders

These fish eat a lot for their size. Awesome lurking predator. Apparently they're prone to tuberculosis and guppies are a known carrier. If you're feeding guppies, I suggest breeding your own.
I got mine to take worms, but most of their diet should be fish. Mine never even glanced at frozen foods.

Thanks, do you still have yours? And what are some good fish, i was thinking rosy red minnows before i get my breeding project up and running

Hey, the general rule is one bump per day, isnt it...?

Anyways, I wouldnt keep them with any fast-moving competitors for food. They arent quick movers and could easily be out-competed.

Yea, thats why im holding off on getting any middle dwelling fish, maybe ill experiment with some schooling fish after they get compfortable...
