Hello,

I have a 1 year old South American Red Tailed Catfish that is speedily outgrowing my 125 gallon tank. He is currently around 14 inches in length and 4 inches thick.

I would like to see him go to a good home. I'm interested in finding someone who has atleast a 250 gallon tank and has experience. Please keep in mind that he would need to be in an aquarium with suitable tankmates as well.

If you're interested, please contact me. I would love to chat with you and see pics of your current aquarium setup where you might be thinking of moving the red tail into.

I'm attaching a fee of $50 to him. I paid $75 for him at PJs pets in Saugus when he was only 4 inches long. The fee is to ensure that he is not sold. I would also be interested in a trade, I currently have an oscar and would like to add some other fish to the tank to replace the red tail.

He has a great personality, will eat right out of your hand.

If you'd like pictures, please click on the below link:

Thank you,
Fletcher

rottbo is gonna jump for joy when he see this

That stinks that you are not closer. I have always wanted to raise a Red Tail, one of my favorite fish. I did not expect for him to grow at such an insane rate though. I have never seen anything like it. He was 4-5 inches 6-7 months ago. He is now 14-15 inches and 4-5 inches wide.

I knew i was going to have to give him up at some point, just did not think it would be so soon.

How big do you think to big is for a 125 gallon tank, fish size that is?

Hopefully I will be able to find someone in the MA area.
