Oahu, Hawaii via Florida
Hey everyone,

I am from the Orlando, Fl area and I will be traveling down to the West Palm Beach Area in a weekend. I am wondering if anyone could direct me to some full-proof spots for peacocks, oscars, snakeheads, pacu, etc.. in the area. I understand PBC doesn't have the same amount of fish as Dade and Broward so I am willing to drive a little.

Any advice helps.
Thanks,
Cray

first i'd start by getting a map of dade and broward counties. All the canals are marked on the maps. the canal and connecting lakes off the dolphin expressway are the closest to west palm I've fished. i usually go father south.. the miami airport lakes are great especially the ones off blue lagoon dr. But, you will be asked to leave by security.. sometimes on the week end they won't bother you though.. otherwise C-4 is always good but, fished alot. snapper creek too where it widens out has always produced for me too.. little tip, the smaller lateral canals produce well especially if the water is flowing strongly
