On CL and not mine:

Custom 135gal tank with FX5 and 48" light.

http://southjersey.craigslist.org/fuo/1061725264.html

I took a look at the setup last night. Very reasonable price and he stated that it's negotiable.

Nothing special about the tank except that it has a weird foot print. 24" wide but only 137 gallon. It's also only 66" long. It's a custom glass tank with 3/4 inch glass. 4 holes on the bottom but no working sump at the moment. It's hook up to a little giant that pumps the water right back up. I am told the tank is over 10 years old. It's going to need a sump unless you want to plug it up.

What makes this a pretty good deal is that it comes with a pretty new FX5 and a Coralife CF. I am pretty sure that these 2 items are worth about $250 used.

He has a few fish in there that may/may not go with the tank (2 large oscar, gar, eel, pleco..)

It's a glass tank. Overbuilt if you ask me. It's only 20 inch high but there is 3/4 (or close to it) glass. I am told that it was custom built by a place in Cherry Hill that used to do it for restaurants/stores.

The 4 drain on the bottom is currently connected to a little giant pump underneath. The seller moved with the stand/tank together the last time because he doesn't know anything about plumbing. Instead of plugging the hole, he has it connected to the pump to send water back up (its' probably been running like this for a few years). His main filter is an FX5.

If I was to buy the tank, I would cut all the plumbling and put a sump underneath. A 30gall underneath should work.

As for the tank, the top has custom glass brace with a wood trim around. The tank look smaller than your 125gal because it's low but wide. It may work well for arowana and rays.

Just be warn. The seller wife's is a smoker. Expect to come out of the house smelling like you came out of a bar (when it wasn't smoke free).

man,not sure if i want to get this then, last time a got a tank from a house like that my basement smelled like a wet cigarettes for months... besides its gonna be a bit hard getting that tank separated from the pump/stand

Removing the tank from the stand is not going to be hard. Nothing fancy with the plumbing there. Just cut the 1" PVC at the bottom and slide the tank out. You other concern is a very valid one. I would not use that stand unless it's been Killz and painted. The smell is going to be there. I was in the house for 30 minutes and I had to drive home with the windows down all the way. I had to immediately shower afterward. The deal is in the Fx5 and light and you may want to just leave the stand and take the tank only. The stand is very sturdy but you are going to have to deal with the smell. This was the main reason why I didn't offer $250 and buy it yesterday. I am pretty sure he would have taken the offer.
