Any of you guys here use it? i feed NLS as a staple and swear by in but ive seen peoples fish that look amazing and they only feed southern delight.

Any insight?

I'm in the same boat... feed NLS but have heard good things about southern delight. Northfin is another one I've wanted to try, wonder when they're ever gonna start selling that in the U.S.

Use southern delight for my oscar haha. He's absolutley beautiful with great color. It may be genes but let's put it this way. The sd is definitely not hurting

I feed my African Cichlids nls, and if they devour it. I tried southern delight and they almost wanted nothing to do with it. It seemed as though the pellets were too hard for them. They would take them and turn around and spit them out.

My fish (mainly cichlids) prefer the Southern Delight over Omega One but im not sure if its just because they grown accustom to it :) Never tried NLS despite its good reputation.

Lol this is weird - I know the guys who started Southern Delight. I had no idea it was a country-wide food!

And as for a totally unbiased opinion, I have noticed a difference in coloration when I feed my cichlids the color enhancing pellets (the red ones). Specifically, after a month of feeding them to my adult "rock kribensis" his orange turned waaaay more reddish.

That being said, I did notice that it makes the water a bit cloudier than other pellets. I still use it, but I tend to mix it with some pellets from another brand.
