The main floating plant is plain old duckweed, also in there is frogbit and salvinia minima, tank is approx 3ft/12/15inch.....
guy's the other plant's in the tank, if i feed with a liquid plant food would that be sufficant or do they need alot of light cos someone think's i have to much floating plants

youve got a lot of floating idd. But your plants dont need that much light. How many light is on this tank? The valis (lonmg leaves) should be fine. The echino (big leaves) might like a little clay/laterite at his feet. Inform at your LFS about plant nutricion? I dont know any products on sale in the UK
hi mate lars is 100% spot-on . i would use a root tabs or add some laterite , i would not add ferts to the tank as then you would need to increase water changes , the vallis really do prefer it dimly lit and will do fine . it is looking good mate . personally i would add more vallis but thats just me , i like to set up assams like there habitat (flooded feilds) the vallis do a good job of replacating this.
