Wanted opinions on those who have had or seen a tank with numerous cichla of the all the same sp in it vs a tank with a mix of sp.....I have yet to see a tank with all the same SP like 5 or more large ones in it only but think it would be coll to try out as you would be able to see all the small variations of color from that one sp...What you guys think?

R1 had had a mix of cichla in his tank. From Intrem's to peruvians. Even calisucks had a mix cichla tank. It's possible, but hard to collect.
I have both, I have tanks with all same species and tanks with as many different cichla sp as 9 or 10 in them. I couldn't say which I like more because the tanks that only have one type are my breeding projects and if it weren't for that they'd probably all mixed.
