state?

It is near cleveland in QLD. I'll have to check into the name of the lake for you though. The only thing is the last time I actually saw someone catch them was around 1.5 years ago. But I haven't really tried since then.

Eels??

Long-finned eel

Anguilla reinhardtii

does anyone know bout the behaviour of spangled perch..i have 3 and one seems to be dominating (by chasing them non stop) the other 2..is this ok for the survival of the fishes?

Extremely aggro to each other and other fish species. They will kill small saratoga with ease. You will need to crowd them heavily if you want to keep a few together but you might still get mortalities. Luckily(?) they are also very easy to breed.

I think Bartier is talking about Tingapla resevoir but they are also very plentiful in Hinze Dam (Gold Coast Hinterland) and quite a few other places Im sure.

ok this is going to happen no matter what you do if you keep them with other similar looking fish or with each other. Just make sure there is a lot of places to hide and that the more dominant fish isn't chasing them continuously otherwise they will die of stress.
