My c. umbriferum and and exC. festae both were in the mood yesterday. The umbees are two years old and have been in my care since last February. They are offspring from 'the general' the male is close to 12"-13" or so, its hard to guess his size because they share a 265g tank.
These festae are in a 125g tank, these fish are offspring of umbeeking's Ecuadorian pair. The male is 6" or so and the female 5.5" or so. This is there second spawn with me, the first was not successful, so I'm hoping to get fry this time. They are very aggressive at this point and have made it clear to me that I need to stay away. The female gets very upset with me when I get near the tank. These guys have been with me for a short time, only about a month or so. Special thanks to Bastardfish for doing such a great job growing them from tiny fry. I hope to do the same with my brood.
