lucky for the motor was 3 phase... unlucky for them i just put in a brand new motor...

this is what happens when you have yer "buddy" come and "fix" things for you because you dont want to spend money on a service call...

everything was working fine 2 months ago when i fixed the heater.. and they SWEAR i was the last person to work on it... buy oddly a month ago "it kinda smelled a little bit like smoke or something maybe" and then magicly the disconnect switch is bypassed and then turned off... the breaker was also turned off... not tripped.. but off...

the left leg is broken and straight up bypassed/wired in directly.. the middle leg is fine.. the right leg is broken and stuck connected...

if they had called when it first messed up the disconnect would have been replaced.. and the motor should have been ok (it had both a phase and overload protector)... however... now they need a new disconnect, new motor, maybe a second new motor, and since they nearly cost me my hand a seriously steep idiot tax....

the motor alone was almost $300 my cost (3hp)... this is gunna cost them so much money.. and everytime they lie to me and tell me i was the last one to work on it.. the price just keeps going up and up...

i am so friggin pissed about this...

Sorry I have no idea what this is about but I though that was hilarious..........

it ties into the screwdriver thread from a few days ago...

in short.. some idiot did something stupid and super dangerous.. the result of which almost cost me my right hand... so insted of charging them $400-$700.. im gunna charge them over $2000

but more than anything this was a rant
