spec caiman

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
whoah that is nice!!!

if you want to get one of these either devote a room to one and put and window in the wall to another room or make a pond in your back yard
cool though I always wanted a croc but those things never tame (well rarely)
and their bite is NASTY I have seen some pics of a guy on another forum who just got bit on the hand and he had to have 3 fingers reattached and reconstructive surgery done on his arm all by a 5 foot african dwarf croc

Wow, very bad move:grinno: Your last one the tegu was WAY better then this one. This is a highly expensive maintenance, very long term living, inpredictable, lots of space needed, and potencialy very dangerous and so hands of pet. I sinserely recomend that you wait for the time being for the tegu or another species and leave crocs alone. Not for ever but at least i want you to fully understend what your getting into. It inst something I would buy;)

Yep, I see them for sale all the time too. They shouldnt be kept as pets, because 99% of the people who purchase them simply get rid of them.

It hasnt to be forever;) Just want to make shure you knowed what your getting into:D LOTS of experienced owners have giant lizards, venomous snakes, crocs and others, have ALOT of fun doing it and maybe they never get bitten. If the person has the facilitys, deep enough pocket, experience and likes the animal let them have it. Thouse animals should be avaible for private ownership, BUT alot of permits and perhaps even inspecions should be done before a person could have them.
By the way have you thinked about a caiman lizard? All the good personality of a tegu, with the alikes of a croc and in my opinion much more funnier to raise and keep, VERY active and a joy to wach as they dive like a skaly other. Of corse very expensive but obteinable via cb. They maybe expensive but they dont comand the kind of money that is paid for like thouse cutting egde ball python morphs. With 1500 you can bring one home:)
