i have had a pike cichlid for quite sometime now. but when i purchased him it just said pike cichlid. was hoping you guys could help me out. i also was recently given a second one from someone who couldnt look after him anymore so any help would be much apreciated. first three pics are of the one i received not even 4 days ago. the second one has been here for a while.

i really appreciate the help. the lfs i had purchased mine from said only columbians came to this area. the second one was given to me as a black stripe which i had never heard of befor.

Columbia is a collection point for many vennies... They are great pikes mine is only 6 inches but put on size very fast like two inches in a month and a half. Have to sell him to make room for some other fish tho i wish i had more tanks
