Species query

I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I bought this fish the other day. I rescued it from a lfs it had gotten into a fight. Its pretty beat up. The guy said it was supposed to be a dolphin cichlid. I dont know if thats correct. Can someone help me out? The picture isnt great but I hope its ok.

Thanks very much guys. I will try to get some new pictures soon. I have no idea if its a male or female either lol. Flowerhorns are pretty aggressive too arent they.

its hard to tell off the pics but i would say it male from that pic.
