Specific gravity for a fowlr?

My LFS told me I could keep my tank at 1.020 if I was fish only. But I've been told by fellow hobbyists that that is too low?

So is 1.020 ok? Or should I raise it?

Ps- the LFS keeps their tanks at 1.020 so acclimation is really easy right now to my tank

I keep mine at 1.019. We keep our clients FOWLR tanks at 19 also. We have been doing it for 17years to date with no ill affects. fish do great at this level. Very important that you keep it constant, In my opinion fluctuations are what cause fish stress when dealing with S.G

Allways kept mine at .30....
