Hello,

I'm trying to plan out how I'm going to collect my natives and where. I'm for sure fishing out of Hopewell Lake and Scott's Run Lake in French Creek State Park for bluegill, bass, muskie, walleye, and trout. I'm looking for more options though.

Does anybody know of a website that gives a list of species known to be in the above two lakes? I can only find a list of fish known to be in the whole state of Pennsylvania.

Thanks!

I bought the state fish book in every state I lived in. Great resources which list all species occurring within the state and what bodies of water they've been collected from.

Through they do listed every known species in a specific lake....however it is not 100% accurate. I've find few new species that were never found in the lakes before when I was working with the Fisheries. Or a specific species that went extinct in a specific lake. Too many species that are introduced to the lakes everyday by bait dumping or got stocked by accidently. For example, a section of Minnesota River that has no blue suckers for over 40 years till last year I caught a first blue sucker out of that section when I was electro fishing for fish population survey.
