Specs on baby Orinos?

Is it normal for baby Orinos to have tiny specs on their dorsal fins? They all have em just on the dorsal. Should i treat them? Worried about it being ich. I just can't tell. if so should i use quikcure? Thanks for the help guys.

bro its ich thats a disease raise your water temp to 87 and add salt meds are not recommended for small cichla. water changes are good.

^^^agree.....bump temp to 87 and add salt.....i think tsp per gal....i usually only use 1/2 dose of aquarium salt.

Yeah i've always used heat and salt to treat ich iinstead of meds. But i keep hearing not to use salt on cichla.

what was tank temp before you noticed spots.keep temp at 85 and you wont have a problem those fish like warm temps

Tank stays at 86 normally
