Hey gang, picked up some new fish this past week, beani, myersi, and a wild pair of spectabilis. The spects are seperated right now by eggcrate till I see some breeding behavior. The male eats everything I offer, the female not so much. She wont touch any pellets and the only food she accepts are earthworms. My question is are earthworms ok to give to wild spectabilis? I'm just concerned a little because of their softness and dont wont to see them come down with bloat. All help is greatly appreciated!

Yeah I've had them before, about 15 years ago and found them very hardy. I wasn't to sure about treating them the same as these are wild. The female will take a pellet and then spit it out. The earthworms she will devour.
