anyone ever tried feeding spectrum pellets to their baby piranhas?? mine seems to try eating it but ends up spitting it out. im not sure wat a constant diet of mouse would end up doing to a piranha either, has anyone tried feeding their piranhas mainly on mice and end up having 12 inch piranhas?? or will it stunt growth??

never fed mice before, piranhas eat mainly fish in the wild and I would suggest you follow a similar diet.

i dunno about mice, i always wanted to try some day when mine are bigger, dunno if its bad for them or not... currently im feeding mine, freeze dried worms, nightcrawlers and the occasional small fish
If you're refer to NLS then yes, it is one of the staple pellets I use. I mix it with omega one floating color pellets.

The omega one color is under $6 for 3.5 oz after taxes around here. It's not cheap but i feel that it is worth it. The only problem is that it isn't available in different sizes.
