I'm kicking myself is the ass for letting this happen. I've put in a bag with rice and will try to get it RMA... I got nothing to lose right? :-)

well it wasnt that bad, i just had it on top of my 150g. its acrylic, so they have a small opening in the middle, i just set it too close the edge w/o realizing and it almost went in!

now i use a sheet of eggcrate so i could put the light anywhere w/o worrying about it falling in the water :)
 
I just bought my speedlte a few weeks ago . . . I'm only going to place mine on the glass top, which has no openings that will allow that to happen. Sorry to hear about your costly lost. On a positive note, this might be a chance for you to upgrade. Best wishes.
